For thousands of years, sound and rhythm have been used in spiritual practice in nearly every culture around the world to achieve deeper states of relaxation and inner connection.

This Saturday, Jonathan Adams (aka The Sonic Yogi) will guide us in an exploration of how sound can be used as a tool to affect human consciousness. "Our bodies function according to rhythms, cycles and frequencies. The brain, heart, and breath are connected. Sound and frequency provide a window into how we can affect the body and mind at a deep level," Jonathan explains.

The goal of this session is to provide an understanding and experience, of how sound therapy can assist in achieving meditative brainwave states.|

Jonathan Adams (a.k.a. Sonic Yogi) found Sound Therapy after an experience with extreme anxiety. As a professional musician he knew the potential of music to entertain and move our emotions, now following this experience he discovered it's power as a healing force. Since then, Jonathan has put his intention and focus into the exploration of the healing potential of music and has given talks and workshops on sound therapy at TedX, national spiritual living conferences and more.
