Religious Landscape Study

December 19, 2016

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There is a growing, worldwide movement of people who consider themselves “spiritual, but not religious.” According to a 2012 survey by the Pew Research Center/Religion & Ethics , about one in five or 18% of U.S. surveyed adults characterized themselves that way.

A more recent study by the same organization broke this group down by age, gender, immigrant status and a number of other characteristics.

Among there findings: Generation X — people born between 1965-1983 — and third generation immigrants — are among the largest SBNR cohorts.

Major conclusions in graphical form are here: http://www.pewforum.org/…/reli…/spiritual-but-not-religious/

I wonder who among this group both strive for community and yet have the courage to live with dogma or other preconceived frameworks that seek to define truth.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
