The message of the day is entitled code or esoteric design.
And I'm going this message with this poem, which is called “code”
****************************************************************
even the infidel
non-believer
his/her way
believes, say,
a tree is not
just a tree
not just a
mixture
of wood
and soil
and leaves
and insects
so much more
to it than
that
beyond the
tree’s surface
breathes
history
circumstance
reason,
non-believer
say…
reason,
example,
ginkgo
tree
chosen
conceived by
planner
planted by
landscape-wise
immigrants
from
Oaxaca
region
of Mexico
balance
for tall
metal and glass
office building
cocoon of
nature
in midst
of non-
organic world
but even that
insufficient
explanation
non-believer
say
tree part
of mysterious
complex
ecosystem
gives life
depends on
elements, other
living things,
for life
system inside of
systems
living thing
inside of
living things:
leaves, flowers
birds, insects
soil, wood
flowers
carbon
water
shade so
many more
things
than that
tree is not
just a tree
so many more
things
than that
******
in his/her
way
infidel
non-believer
believes
surface
all things
is code
which broken
reveals
another
code
which broken
reveals
another
code
endlessly
ultimately
unbreakable
code:
esoteric
design
system-inside
-systems
living thing
inside living things.

So the poem is about esoteric design and reflects my belief that all perceive reality is really a coded reality.
It's kind of like the movie The Matrix in which people are operating as if a particular reality exists.
And although that particular galaxy does exist, beyond it, there's a deeper reality, which is the esoteric design of life.
And I believe that seeking to know God – or whatever you choose to call her -- is peering beneath the veil of surface reality.
A beautiful aspect of deeper reality is that we really can't totally know it.
It’s infinite, kind of like an endless union.
You peel back a layer and there's always another one.
There’s a design -- an esoteric, hidden design.
So hopefully this message gives you something to reflect on throughout your day.
I expect I’ll be reflecting on it for the rest of my life.
